Discover HCI Scholarship

Discover Healthcare Interpreting CoreCHI™ Scholarship

CCHI Commissioners established the Discover HCI CoreCHI Scholarship in the spring of 2017 with the generous contributions from the language service companies. This scholarship was supported by contributions from LSCs, interpreter trainers, interpreters, CCHI Commissioners, and staff.

The purpose of the scholarship was to support interpreters of languages for which only the CoreCHI™ certification is currently available, including refugee languages and languages of lesser diffusion. It was awarded by the Commissioners twice a year.
