Be the Spark

We call upon professional healthcare interpreters to spread the word about professional healthcare interpreting through the “Be the Spark” outreach project. Share your story. Educate others. Change a life. And have some fun in the process. Your story and presentation could be the spark that inspires someone to pursue a career in healthcare interpreting.

Participation will earn you 1 CE hour towards certification renewal (maximum 2 CE hrs per a two-year renewal cycle). Additionally, as a thank you for spreading the word about this rewarding profession, you will receive a $10.00 voucher toward the certification renewal fee. CCHI is developing content that can help you deliver an engaging and inspiring presentation. In the meantime, we encourage you to explore the resources on ATA’s School Outreach program and adapt the content to your own audience and healthcare interpreting focus.
