2024 Certification Summit Registration
Setting the Course for the Next 15!
CCHI Commissioners invite you to participate in the Second National Healthcare Interpreter Certification Summit on April 6, 2024!
Join CCHI as we gather stakeholders from across the nation to commemorate a decade and a half of national healthcare interpreter credentialing, to discuss the future of the profession and industry, and to offer numerous continuing education opportunities. The plenary sessions will inspire attendees to consider the futurist approach to shaping the development of our field and to learn more about the legislative and certification outlooks affecting healthcare interpreting and language access. In addition, the Summit offers three sets of concurrent educational sessions, with a special track for healthcare organization-based language access leaders, 7 continuing education tracks for interpreters, and roundtable discussions for those who are interested in brainstorming the future. In addition to the educational aspects of the event, the Summit will offer a variety of opportunities to network and reconnect with colleagues. Public Transportation (both days): METROrail Red line, UHD Stop, at the 3rd floor entrance level to the UHD One Main Building which is attached to the Academic Building where the Summit will take place.
Parking: $10 at the UH Downtown Visitor Parking Lot (201 Girard Street, Houston, TX 77002). OR: there are City lots around the campus also available.

The National Certification Summit is an in-person event only.
